I know that some of my Twitter followers get frustrated to not understand a word of what I’m writing here… Same for people who get here via YouTube or English blogs I’m visiting. Sorry guys, my English is not good enough for long posts! Beside, I get really angry at myself when I can’t express what I want with the right words… And I love my first language. Really. For me, French is more than a language, it’s the tool I’m using to create. I don’t define myself by refering to the place I was born or the place I live: I do it with my language. I love words too much to get satisfied by only being mediocre (do you say that in that context in English?). So I’ve chosen to go deeper in learning my own language than getting better in my second.
BUT it doesn’t mean that I don’t like to communicate in other languages! Communicating is the most important thing in my life after my husband, my daughter, and my daily chocolate bar. So if you are curious to read a translation of what I’ve done before, I have a link for you: mediacentre.canada.travel/users/marie-julie-gagnon
Last Summer, I’ve been traveling with my family around Canada for 31 days. The reports have been published on Canoe website in French, but they are now available in English on the Canadian Tourism Commission (well some of them for the moment), one of our sponsor for the project.
Have a nice trip! 🙂
P.S.: I’m looking for a translator easy to install (copy-paste html code would be perfect!). Any idea?
